I love what you did with them. How cool to have the history in your home!

I love what you did with them but I have wanted one of those windows like for ages to just sit on my mantle. Intact! I can't imagine having torn them apart....

I do like the ways you managed to use those window frames. Very clever!

Those curtain rod hooks are to die for! what a great idea. I love that look so much. I have a spare room that I use for the grand kids and I'm stealing that idea. Then I'm using the hangers for their clothes and towels too!

Wow, what a neat idea! Those curtain hangers have a lot of character. I'll bet your daughter loves 'em.

So unique! I bet no one else has curtains like that. I predict some copycat do it yourself projects.

Your daughter is blessed to have parents helping her spiff up her place.

Okay--this was a fantastic idea! Love how it turned out. And your wall hooks, too, with the green latch. 100 years old! (My dad is 92.) :)

Wonderful projects! What a cute way to hang tab-top curtains. Clever indeed.

Wishing you a lovely day.

I love this! I love DIY stuff - in fact, my husband and I rescued 100 year old windows, sanded & repainted the trim, and did something similar to what you did with yours...

That turned out so well! I really like how you displayed photos of your dad. :)
Did you see my blog post of the window that had the painting on the glass? I found it at a Goodwill thrift store and bought it for my son's room. He loves it! I found the artist online, pretty cool. :)

You really need to come to my house. Everything is about 150 years old, and I have NO IDEA what to do with it.

Ingenious you are!
