"G" Things I Just Don't Get

1.  I don't get Google+.   I understand it's supposed to be like facebook, but it doesn't look like it.  It doesn't seem to get the interaction facebook does. Maybe I don't know how to use it.  This is entirely possible.

2.  Gluten.  It wreaks such havoc in tummies these days.  It's been around forever, but just in the past two decades, it's been a problem.  Why is that?  What happened?

3.  Gambling.  Why take money you already have and risk not having it?  I don't get it.

4.  Gibson, as in Mel.  Such a high-energy talent that went off the rails.  Get help, Mel, and then come back.

5.  Gnocchi.  I've tried it.  Wet little balls of gooey dough.  I don't get the appeal.  I think you have to grow up with it.

6.  Gray.  The color of cement.  Everybody looks better in some other color.

7.  Golf.  Some people love it.  I know there's skill involved.  I tried it once and could not stay interested.  I kept thinking, I could be home cleaning toilets.

8.  Gummy Bears.  They're rubbery and slimy.  Give me a Peppermint Patty any day.

This post was brought to you by the number 8 and the letter G.

I agree with you on all of these. As for Google Plus, I've heard from several people that their blogs got goofed up when they used it. I've also been unable to comment on blogs that use it, because I'm not signed up for it.

I just read you F for Facebook post first. I am most active on my Facebook personal page. The only action my fan page gets is the day I post a blog. I occasionally skim twitter and Google + surprisingly a lot of traffic comes to my blog from there. I post my blog post there also but I don't have any interaction there either because I don't get it.

Fun post. I agree with you about Google Plus. I am sure I am just not technical enough to use it right, but then I don't really want to use it. I also agree with you about the "G things" in this cute post. Gee - have a Great, Giggly, Gorgeous Day!

I agree - both twitter and google plus seem redundant if you have facebook? idk - one time sucker is enough for me! ;)

I've never figured out the Google+ thing either. I know it caused me some problem with my Youtube account. So if someone adds me to a circle, I'll add them back, but that's about it.

I don't understand the gluten thing either or most of the others you listed. However, I do like the color grey or gray, whichever, Except I don't particularly like it in my hair. lol

I don't get those things, either.

Especially google+ and Mel Gibson.

Except I do like gray in home decorating - my bedroom walls are a gray Misty Morning shade ... with sparkles in it.

I don't get Google plus either. My husband loves it but I just don't get it.
I do like Grey though. I just painted our bedroom grey and purple and it turned out beautiful.

I am so with you I don't like the colour grey unless it is matched with something bright and cheery

Just checking in so I can share what the University of Chicago says about why more trouble with gluten--they are thinking that it's that cleaner home theory that has also been applied to higher levels of asthma. (They must not be talking about my home, though!) My theory is also that we have mixed our food so much with fillers that we are exposed to certain foods at levels we weren't in earlier times. Anyway, gluten is bad for two out of four in our house so we know way more than we'd like to know about that particular "g" word. And, no, I don't get grey either!

I like almost all the things you don't get except for golf and gummy bears. I love Gnocchi, especially with garlic, olive oil, and alfredo.
Throw in a side of garlic bread and I am happy for quite a while. And, yes, Peppermint Patty any day!
