A is for Adventures!

This is my third year with the A-Z Challenge, and my A post is always about the adventures here in the Ballpark.

1. Adventures with overhauling our diet (What the heck is mirin? And how do you cook a rutabaga?)

2. Adventures with aging parents who insist they can do things they did when they were 25.

3. Adventures with adult children and a grand dog.

4.  Adventures with God, and all the ways He like to mess with me.

All the hits and misses - and sometimes a home run - here in our Ballpark.  Come join the adventure!

I love all those A's and can relate to all of them at one time or another!

Well, a rutabaga is best cut into chunks and used in beef soup or stew. Adds a delicious flavor. Also good sliced raw with a sprinkling of salt. :-)

Cook the rutabaga like you would turnip roots.

I thought about you yesterday and wondered if A-Z was still a thing. Then your email popped up this morning. Congrats are the 3rd year. I've known you for a long time now ;-)
