I save beef / chicken broth after I've roasted an animal, or part of an
animal, for my carnivore husband. Then I freeze the juice in a zippered
baggie for future use. Recently, I made the mistake of tossing a broth bag in the freezer
before it was cool. It wrapped itself around the grid shelf and froze in
place. I had to practically disassemble the freezer to get the thing loose.
You don't see the problem here...
But, on the flip side...
Good grief. All I could think was - a broth bag wearing a thong. And I couldn't separate the two. The bag was frozen solid to the grid and to itself.
So I laughed hysterically and took a picture. It seemed like the thing to do.
My husband suggested I run hot water over the bag to free it from its misery. Which I did. But, oh my, what a sight. :-)
Don't try this at home.

Thanks for stopping by! This blog is challenging this year to say the least, and I will be glad when Z comes, but sad when it's over too. Here's to a great finish! I love the thong wearing broth bag! Made me LOL! Peace.
Hahahahaha!!!!! That is all. :)
I'm a saver like you but have never had that one happen...I usually use containers instead of baggies though.
I feel your pain. I've done the same thing, but with soup.
LOL - thanks for the chuckle!
Oh my goodness! Thanks for the laugh!!
Love the information about the naming of your blog and why. I great metaphor for life-the ballpark. You are right, is this about baseball? Maybe you will have posted Wrigley Field's 100th anniversary photo? Good for you to use your creative sense of things. Glad I stopped during the #Challenge.
Ouch! That looks uncomfortable, even for broth!!
The things we find in the freezer
Sadly, that's a common occurrence in the freezer here. I used to make chicken soup from scratch a lot... yeah... we lost a lot of good soup that way.
Pretty darn funny!

That's hysterical!! :)
Laughing and taking a picture sounds like the perfect option. It's what bloggers do. :)
