Recently, a dear nephew gifted his grandfather (my dad) with an iPad. Dad, who's coming up on 90 soon, loves the new gadgets, but needs help using them. Having facetime with the grand kids and great-grand kids is his latest treat.
The craziest and most hilarious iPad feature, however, is Photo Booth, a program that is reminiscent of a fun house mirror. You can distort and twist an image into goofy dimensions, and then laugh your head off.
Some examples...
DAD |
MOM |
DAUGHTER |
Can't you just see the family resemblance?

I hate those photos on ipad. They make people look so weird. My grandkids fill mine up with those weird pics whenever they visit!

Awwww I love that your dad was gifted with an iPad. I hope he is having fun with it.
Photo Booth is a lot of fun...I've found that if I need a good laugh, it'll give you one for sure! Glad you all had fun with the Ipad. Laughter is the best medicine they say!
That' a very generous gift. I wish my mother wouldn't be so intimidated by electronic gadgets. You all look beautiful!
Haha! That's really awesome. I don't have an iPad, but if I did, I think I'd have a lot of fun with that feature.
Have a wonderful Wednesday. :)
Nothing wrong with taking your time in regards to technology...interesting pics;)
Ha ha ha! I say that you probably have your father's eyes! ;)
Fun post! The iPad truly is a revolutionary device; Not just because of the advancement in technology, but also for the remarkably short learning curve for people whose last video player was a VCR! :D

We're always late on the technology bandwagon because our budget is so tight it squeaks. But I would love an iPad!
My daughter has a thousand photos of herself like that. So much fun.
I don't have an Ipad. I don't have an Ipod. I don't have anything "I". However, my child has a Kindle Fire so I feel a little better and when I travel, I take his. There are many seniors who are intimidated by the technology so it is refreshing to find that your dad enjoying his.
I have an ipad but didn't know about photobooth!I have been missing out!
